Entervyu is operated by Shivam Kumar ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our app and website, how we use it, and your rights. By using Entervyu, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use the app:

• Account information — your name, email address or phone number, and sign-in method (Google or OTP).
• Profile information — your target job role, years of experience, and target company type. You provide this during onboarding.
• Voice recordings — when you use the voice interview feature, your audio is recorded and sent to our servers for transcription. Recordings are deleted immediately after transcription and are not stored permanently.
• Interview session data — the questions asked, your answers as text, AI-generated feedback, and scores. This is stored so you can review past sessions and track progress.
• Usage data — basic information about how you use the app, such as which features you access.

2. How we use your information

• To run the app and provide personalised interview practice based on your role and experience
• To transcribe your voice answers using OpenAI Whisper
• To generate interview questions and evaluate your answers using Anthropic Claude AI
• To show you your progress, session history, and improvement over time
• To generate your post-session PDF report
• To improve the app and fix issues

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Supabase — stores your account, profile, and session data securely with row-level security. Privacy policy
• OpenAI (Whisper) — transcribes your voice recordings into text. Your audio is sent to OpenAI servers for processing. Privacy policy
• Anthropic (Claude) — generates interview questions and evaluates your answers using AI. Your text answers are sent to Anthropic servers. Privacy policy
• Google (Sign-In) — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. Privacy policy
• Render — hosts our backend server that processes requests between the app and AI services.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security enabled, meaning only you can access your own data. Voice recordings are processed and deleted immediately after transcription. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to keep your account credentials private.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

7. Children

Entervyu is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
